Boundless harmony, peace, and joy are probably all feelings from deep in the hearts of Buddha's children when returning to Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda to attend the Gratitude Ceremony of Compassionate Father Amitabha recently.
Within the framework of the Ceremony of the birthday of Compassionate Father Buddha Amitabha, on the morning of December 11th, 2022 (Lunar November 18th, Year of the Tiger), hundreds of Buddhists and fellow practitioners gathered solemnly in front of the main hall of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda to perform the Ceremony of releasing lives and cultivating compassion for all sentient beings.
On the evening of December 10th, 2022 (Lunar November 17th, the year of the Tiger), more than 500 Buddhist followers and monks from various ashrams gathered together to perform the 48 Great Vows of the Compassionate Father Amitabha Buddha and solemnly celebrate the anniversary of the birthday of the Great Buddha Amitabha at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda.
On the occasion of the commemoration of the Compassionate Father 's Enlightenment Day, on the morning of December 10th, 2022 (Lunar November 17th, the year of Tiger), Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda held a solemn ceremony to erect the Middle monastery gate of the Trung Vien area of the Pagoda, under the witness of the Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen association and numerous Buddhists and practitioners who attended the Amitabha Buddha worship ceremony.
Amidst the joy of countless Buddhists commemorating the birthday of the Buddha Amitabha, on the morning of December 9, 2022 (Lunar November 16th, the year of the Rat), Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda of solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the Buddha Amitabha. With respect and sanctity, over 500 Buddhists and fellow practitioners from near and far gathered at the pagoda to participate in the ceremony.
Walking in the pitch-black night can be challenging, but having a light source makes a significant difference. It is similar to when the night falls, and we can still save some daylight to illuminate the ground. For those who have visual impairments and must navigate through the darkness, there is no greater grace than finding the path to Buddha's teachings' light.
The Sixteen Contemplative Sutras teach that: Reciting the Buddha's name in one hour can kill the grave sins of 80 billion kalpas of birth and death. Only for that person to recite the Buddha's name for one hour, here is just one Buddha sentence called "Namo Amitabha Buddha" but more than offering 7 treasures for a hundred years. Sincerely reciting the Buddha's name, there is no disease that cannot be eliminated.
