For the above purpose, fellow initiates when coming to the Congregation at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen must adhere to the following rules and regulations:

1. General regulation:

 - Provide identification documents, declare personal identity according to the form of the DLTHS.

- Must keep the four positions, dignified and pure (walking, standing, lying down, sitting).

- Dress discreetly, politely, do not wear jewelry, do not use perfume, cosmetics.

- Have good health, do not carry infectious diseases.

- Always put your phone on silent mode.

- No filming or taking pictures inside the Buddha Hall and the Main Hall.

- Actively participate in the daily cooperation as assigned by the person in charge.

- Do not access the bedroom and toilet area of the opposite sex.

- Limit contact with people of the opposite sex, when necessary to communicate, keep a reasonable distance with a moderate and dignified attitude.

- Obey the rules about sleeping, resting and waking up time.

- Do not leave the temple premises during the time of group meditation, unless otherwise permitted.

- Do not spread superstitious activities.

- Do not discuss world affairs, politics or other religions.

- When you need to talk to fellow practitioners, speak kindly.

- Do not practice or propagate things contrary to the provisions of Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen.

- Shoes and slippers must be neatly arranged.  

- All personal belongings must be neatly packed in the cabinet.

- Do not smoke, do not use alcoholic beverages, five spices and banned substances.

- Do not eat rice and other foods in the sleeping area.

- Do not bring weapons, flammable and explosive materials, sharp objects (knife, scissors...) 

- Maintain general hygiene, classify garbage, dispose of garbage in the right place.

- Self-preservation of personal property.

- Do not move and damage Gia Lam's furniture (If damaged, compensation must be paid).

- Use sparingly the property of Tam Bao: electricity, water and other daily necessities.

- Do not bring money or valuable jewelry.

- Fellow initiates of the DLTHS absolutely do not borrow money from others or lend money to others.

2. Separate regulations: 

The ashram is divided into 2 zones, including the Restricted Zone and the Free Zone.

Restricted area:

The restricted area (belonging to the interior area) is an area including Quan Am Radio, Dia Tang Palace, Gia Lam Palace, Co Sau Palace and Mr.Tuong Van's room. Except in the case of accompanying with people on duty, fellow initiates who come here for the first time are kindly requested not to visit this area.

Free zone:

The free zone includes the Canteen, the Buddha's Recitation Hall, the Lecture Hall and the Rest House. The specific rules of each house are as follows:

Canteen:

For the best service at the cafeteria, fellow initiates when coming to the Congregation at Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen please eat on time according to the following time frames:

Hours of service at the restaurant:

+ Breakfast: From 7:00 to 8:00

+ Lunch: From 11:30 to 12:30

+ Dinner: From 16:30 to 17:30

In addition, fellow initiates should abide by the following rules:

- Do not retreat into the cooking area when not authorized.

- Line up when getting food and get enough food.

- Do not rest your feet on the crossbar of the dining table.

- Focus on eating and drinking and limit talking and making noise.

- Self-cleaning, cleaning up objects after use.

Buddha's Recitation Hall 

The Buddha’s Recitation Hall is the place where four daily sessions take place. Specific times are as follows:

+ Midnight Session: Start at 4:30 AM and finish at 6:30 AM

+ Morning Session: Start at 10:00 AM and finish at 11:30 AM

+ Aftenoon Session: Start at 14:00 PM and finish at 15:30 PM

+ Evening Session: Start at 18:30 PM and finish at 20:30 PM

When participating in the practice, fellow initiates must:

- Respecting the Three Guards, standing dignified when reciting the Amitabha Sutra and bowing to the Buddha.

- Keep the dignified and pure of the Ashram.

- Uphold and practice the spirit of peace and harmony.

- Attend all 4 sessions per day, unless absences have been allowed.

- Follow the instructions of the leader.

- Wear Hai Thanh robes and socks according to regulations when entering Buddha's Recitation Hall.

- Know how to arrange and rotate the bodhisattva, ceremony, amnesty, walking meditation (4 words for traditional Dharma practice, 6 words for common ground practice).  

- Do not bring personal items and drinking water into the Buddha’s Recitation Hall.

- Don't talk privately.

Sleeping place: 

The sleeping place is arranged around the Buddha’s Recitation Hall. Fellow initiates should note a few rules:

- When sleeping, initiates turn their heads to the Buddha's Recitation Hall.

- Fellow initiates keep quiet, do not talk, turn on the machine to recite the Buddha's name or listen to the Dharma to affect them during the break from 12:30 to 13:30 and from 21:30 to 03:45 the next day.

- Do not bring food and drink into the public living area (put in the bed).

Personal activities: 

Fellow initiates who use the restroom as a changing room are not allowed to change in public residences.

Guests house: 

As a place to receive guests, used in common with hygiene.

Auditorium: 

It is a place where learning activities and meetings take place. Fellow initiates are allowed to attend with the approval of the Management Board.
