The ceremony was presided over by Venerable Monk Thich Minh Thanh, Abbot of Thang Nghiem Monastery with the participation of the Venerables, monks, Buddhists, and faithful follower of all regions. The ceremony took place at the Centrall Hall in Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda.

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is a Bodhisattva who always listens to the cries of life and seeks ways to help sentient beings escape from suffering. He has undergone many lifetimes of cultivation to fulfill his vow to save sentient beings from suffering and birth-and-death. Therefore, wherever there is suffering, he will appear to help alleviate difficulties and enable people to overcome them.

Ngài còn được gọi là Mẹ hiền Quan Âm. Tình thương mà Ngài dành cho chúng sanh được ví như tình thương của người mẹ đối với con. Đó là tình yêu thương chân thành, thiết tha nhất mà không có tình thương nào sánh bằng. Cho nên, Đức Quán Thế Âm hiện thân là một người mẹ hiền của nhân loại, cứu độ cho muôn loài được thoát khỏi mọi khổ đau do nghiệp chướng của chúng sanh đã gây ra trong cuộc sống này.

Although he has entered Nirvana, his mind is always directed towards sentient beings, and his compassionate salvation of sentient beings is like the sun that shines, brightens, and radiates to all directions. This miraculous power and spiritual experience were present in the moment of the ceremony of enthronement of Four-faced Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue at Da Tung Lam Hoa Sen Pagoda.

The mind of the Buddha is pure, compassionate, equanimous, enlightened, and liberated. If our minds are pure and our commitment is absolute, we will feel the magnetic field, the protection of the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas. We worship the Buddha to learn from his teachings and his noble conduct and transform our minds and hearts to become more refined, virtuous, and holy. Therefore, this is an opportunity for all Buddhists, monks, and followers to develop their great compassion and vow to practice the cultivation of patience, compassion, and loving-kindness towards all beings, bringing happiness to themselves and others.
